Description:First introduced in 2000, the
Aimpoint CompM2 (M68 CCO) is used by a long list of Armed Forces, including many elite Special Forces throughout the free world. The CompM2 has long been the standard close-combat optic for the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, and many N.A.T.O. countries.
The CompM2 is also compatible with all generations of night vision devices (NVDs). The performance of the CompM2 is optimized for use with all generations of NVDs, but is especially suited for 3rd generation NV technology. Aimpoint's unique band-pass coating on the front lens reflects select frequencies of red light at near 100% efficiency in order to give the highest possible dot brightness while transmitting nearly 100% of light in the infrared and near-infrared part of the spectrum to provide the clearest, brightest image possible used with a 3rd generation NVD.
Specs:Achieve up to 10,000 hours runtime at a normal setting and 100,000 hours runtime at a NV setting on a single 3V lithium-type battery. Constructed of extruded high strength aluminum with a hard anodized black matte finish to prevent reflection. Basic package does NOT include a mount. Available with a 4MOA reticle.
