The Monadnock Front Draw Holder with Clip-On back was designed to work specifically with the Monadnock AutoLock baton design. Made from durable polycarbonate, all holders feature a molded tension spring for baton security. The design is comfortable to wear and offers a quick draw from any position.
The holder rotates in 360 degrees and locks in one of eight locking positions. A 45 degree option is appropriate for an officer is using the 26 inch (66.04 cm) baton with an installed Hindi Baton Cap. This is also a good option for anyone concerned about their baton rotating too far in the holder.
A baton may be re-holstered in the locked position either open or closed, as necessary, saving time to control a suspect.

A pad is included with clip-on holders. The pad may be placed on the inside back of the clip to prevent the holder from moving on the duty belt. If using a 2-1/4 inch (5.715 cm) belt, the pad may or may not be necessary depending on the thickness of the belt (you may place undue stress on the holder). You may use half of the pad for off duty belts.
Accommodates either the Foam grip or Super Grip batons. When using a baton with the Super Grip, slightly twist the Super Grip when drawing from the holder and slightly twist it when returning it to the holder for easier functionality. The Super Grip is very tactically retentive so it grabs the holder for excellent baton retention. Conveniently remove the holder from the belt without stripping the whole belt. Fits belts up to 2.25 inches wide.
Make sure the proper holder is chosen to the appropriate AutoLock baton. This is important as far as high or low carry of the baton is concerned. Good balance is important for the ease and comfort of wear to the officer. Available in plain or basketweave finishes.
